Do you know them? More importantly do you know what they mean?

Lets start with a couple of easy ones (I'd hope) everyone knows.

Harder ones, do you know what they are?

I know 1, 2, 3, and 5. The second to last makes me think of the Pythagorean theorem but because of the variables used, I don't think that's right

I gotta know what that last one is. It's a laugh riot.

I was pretty good at math, even enjoyed it, especially geometry. But then I ran into a brick wall called calculus. It's irrational (to me)concepts as well as the plethora of symbols made it like a foreign language--which btw, are also at the bottom of the list. But I'm a genius at English. Go figure.

I know a couple of them but maths was always my Achilles heel.

I was good at maths, but pulled mostly everything out of my arse. I scarsly remember most equations, unless I need to remember them. I wonder have you herd of the number 1.618 ska the divine number. I found that oddly interesting. But besides that math never intrigued me much to remember equations of by heart.

This is the most amazing and beautiful thing I ever encountered in math.

I know, right? The first time I saw it I thought "what the f***?" I still don't fully understand it and I'm really good at math. Like, better than anyone else on TFS good (no offense to anyone).

Same here. It's pretty common for people who are not so good at things like calculus to be better at geometry and trigonometry, and that's how I am. I'm convinced one of the only reasons I got a B in my college algebra course instead of a C my freshman year was because it was a 6:45 am class and I'm the only one who bothered to show up for every class, which the prof. appreciated.

I really have respect for people who do well in math because after a certain point I just completely go blank. I just don't have the right mind for it.

I've worked with all of those before except for the sixth one down.

Math is probably my weakest subject, but on a scale of everyone else in my class, I was always on top with the highest grade.

I'm more naturally inclined at science, history, and english.

Funny thing is I use more math in everyday life than any other subject, and yes those include complex formulas.

Edit... well minus english as I write and read more than anything these days.

7+5=12

I'm not sure if it is mathematically significant but it is a representation of the distinction between A Priori and a Posteriori knowledge.

There's three kinds of people in this world. Those that can count, and those that can't... I am not sure which group I belong in though...
