Family Guy - Most Overrated Show In Years?

Has there been a more overrated tv programme this decade than Family Guy?

It isn't funny, makes no sense, yet loads of people seem to love it, and talk about the jokes all the time. But the jokes are completely random and make no sense in relation to the plot. It seems to work on a premise of putting in a pop culture reference, and assuming that if you get the reference you'll laugh...and people do!

I've seen people see a 'joke' which is one of these references, and laugh at it, because they quite simply got the reference.

Anyone else agree with me, or have you all fallen into the trap of liking this s***e?

Well see thats another thing I don't like about other types of jokes, is that its supposed to make you laugh because they are being 'risky'. But with programmes like South Park going even further, Family Guy just seems tame.

I like South Park, because it's sorta like what Family Guy would be like if they were funny.

Like Family Guy seem like they are trying to make controversial jokes, but don't go far enough, whereas South Park does.
