Fake Sick Leave

What is the best excuse you have used to call in sick when you are actually fine. As this is Sunday night it crosses my mind! Mine was not an excuse but i actually phoned into work drunk and said that i simply couldn't come to work as i was drunk and having too much of a good time (it was my birthday)

When I was in elementary school sometimes I just didn't feel like going in, so I would fake a fever or say I had just vomited or something.

When I got to middle/high school I realized being absent was a pain in the ass. My mom normally let's me stay home if I ask to, because I hardly ever do and when I do it's usually to get caught up in work, or if I'm feeling slightly sick and feel I could push myself, but a day off would help me get better more quickly.

Wow. Long sentence.

I very rarely lie to get out of work..I actually think I have done it less than 10 times in 9 years of working.

The only one I can really remember was when I called the Comfort Inn and told my boss that I was in Vermont and my car was broken and I couldn't get back to work.

I think other than that, I've like pretended I was sick and really wasn't, nothing dramatic, and nothing within the past few years except that one time calling the Comfort Inn.

I always feel guilty when I miss work. Even if I'm like, dying in the hospital, I'm still like..."I'm sorry I'm missing work.."

I think thats why i did'nt lie, they knew it was my birthday!

lol i remeber one time i didnt wanna go to primary school so i poured vegetable soup down the toilet and told my dad i had been sick and he came checked and asked me why ti smelled of tomatoes? needless to say i went to school that mornin lol

i lie all the time to miss work........but it's not my fault, they make me!

Years ago when I was 17 I worked for McDonalds I was due for a 6am shift but I was having a discreet weekend away with my girlfriend at the time, so I drove up to a small air field where a few planes had been making a lot of noise. I then called the manager and told him I was out of the country and my flight had been delayed from the previous night.

The most ironic thing is that I never went back to the job after that, I hadn't been fired and I didn't quit.... I just decided not to go back.
