I basically lived at her house and her at mine, we did everything together and then when we reached high school, we just sort of went different ways. Made friends with different type of people and never really were as close as we used to be. I actually havent seen her in years now
Even one of my best friends, who I'm still close with when we're together, I haven't spoken to for a few months now. She moved away years ago and we don't talk nearly as often as we did when she lived just down the block. We said we'd keep in touch, but we're both so busy it's easy to forget sometimes
Basically the point is, don't try to be what other people want you to be if it's different from who you are. You'll just look back at it later and see it as a big waste of time.
