In all honesty though, think how much is going to change in just 5 or 10 years. You're more likely to keep strong friendships going with the people you meet after high school than you are with your friends now. Everybody will go off in their own direction and you'll lose touch. It's sad to think about, but I think for the most part it's inevitable. So just forget about all this crap that won't matter in five years and try to enjoy the time you have together now!
It's is sad. I know since I've finished school. The group that I considered to be my closest friends has gotton so much smaller. People have just gone off and done different things, you just lose contact with them. Im still really good friends with a lot of them, but as time goes on I can sort of see things drifting.
