Face catches fire during surgery

HOLT, Ala. – A woman was recovering in a burns unit in Alabama on Thursday after her face caught fire during routine surgery.

Morther-of-three Kim Grice, from Holt, Fla., was having cysts removed from her head at a medical center in Crestview, Fla., when the blaze suddenly erupted, leaving her with horrific burns to her face and neck, the Crestview News Bulletin reported.

Why call the fire brigade?

Why notify the world press?

Im sorry that this happened but if it was my daughter there is no way in hell I would want her photo all over the net and papers in such a state.

If she decided later on to sell a story thats up to her.

Does that make her a bad mother?

Drum up publicity for a lawsuit, probably.

yeah, if you was a young adult and your face has been burned and you haven't even seen yourself in a mirror yet and your mother put your photos all over the world press and internet isn't that a violation of privacy?

yeah I think so too.

Well lets hope she gets a lot after going through all that, compensation I mean.

I hope she gets a fair payment and the matter is investigated properly.

OMG! Poor girl! They've won that law suit already.

I don't see why there's automatically any lawsuit. There's nothing in the story to indicate that anyone did anything remotely wrong.
