Seven lucky British people last night landed a ?47million share of the ?120million Euro Lottery jackpot.

They scooped ?6.75million each as runners-up because for a 12th week running there was no outright winner for the jackpot.
It means the UK takes the lion?s share of the kitty, with 13 more winners in five other countries. Late yesterday around 2.5million tickets an hour were being snapped up in the UK, with some punters queuing for up to 60 minutes to buy their tickets.
And weekly sales were nearly eight times higher than normal.

The rules for the Euro Lottery say the big prize can only be rolled over 11 times before being split among runners-up.

Last night?s 20 winners had to match all five numbers ? 12, 22, 32, 33 and 36 ? but only one of the two Lucky Stars, 2 and 6.

France had four of the winning tickets, Portugal and Spain three each, Ireland two and Belgium one.

The biggest single winner of th e Euro Lottery still remains Dolores McNamara of Limerick, who landed ?77million in July 2005.

If your one of the lucky winners more power to you, but I doubt if you did win you'd have time to be on TFS tonight.
