I really don't get it.
This guy lures a little boy away from his school bus stop with promises of soda and then kills the kid and dumps the body.

It's not like he wanted to molest him or whatever, he just killed him. He wanted to just kill him. That's it! No rhyme or reason.
Wtf?! Why??

Some people kill just to see another person die.

There was this website that showed pictures/ or live stream of a body decaying.

Also I had a friend whose rabbit died and they kept digging it up just to see what it looked like.

People have a dark side, our capabilities are a bit scary.

Yeah, I was thinking the same; it makes no sense. I was waiting for some sort of explanation myself; especially after all this time. Why now did he choose to come forward. The guilt having been eating at him just doesn't seem like it's enough; like that alone would be the reason.

Treebs makes a good point though, about the dark side of human nature. It's possible it could have been as simple as him just wanting to know what it felt like; and him being what? Nineteen or so at the time? Maybe wasn't thinking clearly as to the 'finality' of the act... Hard to believe, that,..really...at that age; but it is possible I guess...
The whole thing is both very puzzling and troubling.

What treebs said. Some people just kill to kill. It can give people a power kick or just be incredibly morbid curiosity. There doesn't have to be another reason to kill someone other than they wanted to.

There are many VERY sick people walking this earth....
