are we better then each other, or we each have our talent?

We each have our own talents. That is one reason why may seem better in one or multiple areas compared to another.

I am different (not better or worse) than others

In some cases "Better" is a relative term - eye of the beholder thing.

In other cases it doesn't matter what we may be better or worse at.

And in most cases, I don't care!

I just hope the doctor operating on me is better at surgery than I am.

Success is another thing that is tentative an relative. Success depends on goals. If I attempt to run a distance in under 10 seconds and I run that distance in 9 seconds, then I have succeded. Another person who attempts to run the same distance in less than 9 seconds but runs that distance in 9 seconds is not a success. (even though we ran the same distance in the same amount of time (i.e., at the same speed). If we set unreasonably high goals we increase the potential for failure.

or learning?

We learn even when we fail.
