how come we get double points today? and how often does it happen?

I have no idea...I just joined a few days ago

I take full advantage of double points day....in fact.....I am pathetic.....I sold my house to buy a computer so I could post today......I got up at 5 and quit my job, so I could post today......I lost contact with all of my friends and ignored their emails, so I could post today.......I flunked out of school and lost my grades, so I could post today......I quit my position as team captain, and skipped our big game, so I could post today........so I better get some points!!
