Where I can advertise my stuff for sale apart from ebay? I have a picture trail with pics of what I am selling but don't know what sites I can advertise on.

try craigslist are you looking for an auction site? there are other options besides Ebay.

you can also sell on amazon as long as you just want to sell someting for a fixed price not an auction site though,, good luck

A nice and easy start could be doing some social media for your products. A facebook fan page is a great way to show off your products and get more people interested in what you are selling. With over 500 million active users on facebook today it should be no problem generating customers by posting pictures with links back to your website. You could tweet about your products or special offers you may have with links once again back to your site. Flickr would be a really good site for you to use. Post a lot of pictures of your product in the photostream and once again have links back to your site. There are so many easy ways you can get out there so people see your products. Just have fun with it and you will be rewarded.
