I believe that embryos do have souls.

Here is a quote from Catholic.com

"Do embryos have souls?

All living things have souls, and all human beings have spiritual, rational souls made in the image and likeness of God. However morally problematic the means of conception, if a human being is conceived then that person has a spiritual, rational soul. So, yes, your children do indeed have human souls. As for their eternal destiny, they share the same hope for heaven that the Church considers that we may have for all unbaptized children."

-Catholic.com

I do believe that embryos have souls. They are important to me as babies, in the context that they have souls too.

It's generally just catholic/orthodox religions that think babies should be baptised too.

I for one will not be 'christening' my child as I don't think that if there is a good my child will be held accountable for something I did.

I think any living thing has a soul/spirit.

Thankfully, I believe that once aborted, the soul goes back to God and later becomes another baby.

I believe that the soul that religion describes does not exist. There's something that makes us alive but it's not what religion claims. I'm agnostic when it comes to the human soul really. All I know is, I do not think abortion equals murder

Not one person on this earth can answer this question for fact! There are some things we are not meant to know and this is one of them.

i believe that a woman should have the decision to give birth, the right to decide whether she can give another human being a comfortable lifestlye, i don't believe aborting a child is destroying a human life. An embryo doesn't have a soul, soul and spirit come when you are alive and breathing outside of the womb. The progression of ones soul comes from its up bringing, its family, the child being loved etc. Other people effect your growth as a human, effecting who you are inside, thus effecting your soul and spirit.

I don't know. Does anyone really know? No. This is one of those what do you think questions and depending on what you think will probably determine your stance on abortion.
