Desktop vs laptop

Which gadget is more useful and comfortable, desktop or laptop. Which gadget you like?

Neither. I trashed my computer a year ago and have gone 100% tablet since then. Time to blaze to the future.

I dont have a tablet, dont like using desktops anymore... it feels weird!

I have a NetBook now, but I use my phone more than the NetBook.

Laptop for a lot. Tablet for a few things.

I haven't had a desktop of my own for several years. If it wasn't for the ones I use at work I wouldn't use them at all.

I prefer a laptop. I can hook it up to my PC or use it in bed.

However I do have one of those mini server things running my Linux server. But I can just remote onto that.

Even if I had a desktop. I would just use Teamviewer and remote onto it with my laptop. The desktop would just be for raw processing power.

My office has a desktop, which I need for the kind of work that I do. My favorite is my laptop; it's in bed with me more than my husband is.

No can do. I need a disc drive, HDMI, a keyboard, mouse . . . .

My wireless keyboard works just fine with the tablet, and my finger is my mouse. HDMI - I have a connection cable to my TV. I don't need a disc drive.

Desktop for work. I have three screens and really can't imagine only working with one screen anymore.

Laptop for home.


And phone/tablet for every thing else.

Desktop if you game or work in graphics, animation, game design and modeling.

Powerful video cards require fans to cool their CPU. You can't fit one of those in a laptop.
