Death to split ends.

Does anybody know how to prevent split ends? I've been trying to grow my hair longer but every time it gets to the length it is now it becomes split ends and I have to cut it.

Sorry I can't help, but I would love to knopw how. My ends split really easily even when my hair is seeming to be great condition. They split only a couple of weeks after getting it cut. I need to have my hair cut after about 3-4 weeks anyway because it grows really fast.

Is that red dye in your hair? Maybe you need to give the color a rest for a bit or swap to a natural colorant???

Yeah that's red dye. I love this coloring. My natural color is black.

It looks great - i cant see any split ends!
I think there are some good colorants on the market now that do less damage, otherwise it looks fine anyway

this chick i use to date always put mayonnaise in her hair. i had to dump her a** because i was always coming up short when trying to make a freakin' sandwich!
