Dating site axes 5,000 members - for gaining weight over holiday

Dating and social network site BeautifulPeople.com has axed some 5,000 members following complaints that they had gained weight.

"Letting fatties roam the site is a direct threat to our business model and the very concept for which BeautifulPeople.com was founded."

Well, the whole point of the website is to only include people with perfect bodies and faces. Hence the name of it. So I'm not surprised to be honest

When the whole concept of the the site is based around image, then I supose they have a point really.
