Confirmed and this needs to be pointed out

After a thorough cleaning yesterday this is the only site I've visited since and already adware is munching at my Firefox.

Now yeah, I'm an unsubscribing cheap bastard however I'm not sure that the annoying cookies are delivered through the advertisements as much as perhaps some of the Google Images that we're linking.

I'm not sure if sites can implement something like this but is there any way to code an adware scanner that previews every linked image before allowing it to go live?

Yep and good anti virus. Tino said he blocked ILivid and I believe him; it's wicked and still manages to get on here. There's one called circuit which when blocked from one browser hops to another. I imagine quite a few do that. My program checks what I use for virus and blocks it so I can't use it.
Get the Ad blocker too, it's worth the money.

Ad Blocker is free on my Chrome browser, and you wouldn't believe the numbers that show up that it blocks just from being on any given site in less than one minute..

I've got Kaspersky Lab which gives me real time and over all protection no matter which site I'm on. We wait until it's on sale for $20.00 and it covers 3 computers for the whole year. Well worth the money once a year.
