Anyone has or still has college loans? I know I do. My forbearance just ended and I have to pay at least $50 back by the 25th of this month. I was going to pay it back online today, but when I payed attention to it, they won't take the money out until Monday and it won't be processed until about 5pm. So I don't want to pay it and not know how much I have in my account today because I have a feeling I will spend a bit more money by the end of the weekend.

50 dollars is nothing compared to what most people pay for university education. I'll be lucky if I make it out of uni with under £25,000 of debt.

Ouch.. I only have maybe a little over $3,000 in college loans. I'm a have to pay what I can and then ask for Forbearance one more time when I head to boot camp.

I will be able to take care of it completely after boot camp. I can't touch the money I get paid during boot camp.

That's easy to do, if you put yourself in the right mind-set.

All I know is we do get paid during boot camp. We won't see the money at all. They'll give us cards and stuff to get necessities during boot camp and that will be taken out of our pay. So I will be leaving boot camp with maybe somewhere around $2000 or less in my pocket. I think....

How does it work in the states. In the UK, my student loan just gets taken out of my wages as a percentage. Bit like tax. The more I get paid the more I pay off.

Im tempted to pay it all off when I get my redundancy payoff. But I dont see the point as its just gonna go gradually anyway.

I wish I could compain about it. But it was my choice to get the loan. I signed the dotted line. So I just gotta live by my choices.

I set up auto pay on mine as well, but I have to put it on forbearance once more when I leave.

I didn't set it up as autopsy. The goverment did that themselves. They gave me the money, now they are taking it back. Just glad they don't want it in the same payment sizes as they gave it me.
