OK, so I put on the washing machine, it worked for about half an hour and I haven't heard anything since from the machine. I went to take a look and it had stopped mid cycle. Once I opened the door my clothes were completely soaked and sitting in a giant pool of water (half of which came out onto the kitchen floor when I opened the door).

Anyway, my clothes were in there for about an hour. That isn't going to ruin my clothes is it?

It shouldn't. Sounds like it was just unbalanced. Did it restart for you?

Ah, we have an option of draining the water before opening the door on our washing machine

Not going to ruin your clothes, just take them to the laundry tomorrow

Depends what material the clothes are babe
For example if they are wool or so on, then maybe.

Yeah. I put it on the drying cycle to drain the water and hopefully dry off my clothes a bit.

I'm going home tomorrow, might just pack the clothes in a bag and use the washing machine at home. Our washing machine here is terrible, takes about four hours to actually clean clothes.

Another problem with this flat. I really need to get on at the landlords again.

Cool...if it does then I may be able to get the money back from the landlords...maybe.

some machines stop with an amount of water before the spin to prevent creasing, check your settings babe, my last machine used to do that.

It had been stopped for about an hour, which it normally doesn't do.

I have a couple of new shirts in there, thats why I'm a bit worried.
