Which classical composer's music can you listen to, understand and enjoy?
Here is a short list to jog your memory.
Bach , Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin, Debussy, Grieg, Elgar, Handel, Prokofiev, Rossini, Verdi, Schumann, Sibelius, Wagner, Stravinsky,
Gilbert & Sullivan, Vivaldi.

Gustav Holst and Bach are my favourites. I actually got into Bach thru metallica, weirdly, as the bass part in orion is taken from 'come sweet death'. Apparently.

Yes I like Holst and Vivaldi ( there is a dvd out of Vivaldi called 4 of course its the Four seasons visiting four musicians in 4 different countries each a diferent season.)
I forgot about classical guitarists in my profile, yes Segovia, but I think Julian Bream surpassed the old Master with the wealth of new music.
And the reason I didnt include Tchaikovsky is cos I also couldnt remember how to spell his name until I looked it up.
Cheers Classical music fans,

Hmmm I can pretty much listen to most.

Haydn's quintet No $ is one of my personal favorites.
I wish I could find a live recording of this. hell I wish someone would record our Woodwind Quintet when we play it.

Mozart's Piano Concerto no 21 AKA Elvira Maddigan is another

Tchaikovsky's Symphony No 4 is another good one

Tchesnekoff's Salvation is created of course

Bach's Little Fugue (in G minor)

and although not Classical
John Williams.
I mean the guy is a freaking Genius
he did really good on the Phantom menace soundtrack.
I love the Cellos.. so ominous. gives you chills.

there just so many.
