Civil War in Iraq

The news reports coming out of Iraq following the provocative bombing of the important Islamic shrine are that the country is close to melt down into civil war.

This will be Islam verus Islam. Brother against Brother.

Not a pretty thought.

Does anyone fully understand the differences between the two groups or is this another example of an internal power struggle.

Is it that people do not see their similarities with their fellow man but focus on some mythical difference to justify slaughter.

OMG, ive missed that story, thats a nightmare... civil war in iraq, america prepping to invaded iran.. afganastan problem... bosnia still an issue... and my pen has ran out.. we are spread a little too thin if you ask me..

There are several different muslim factions over there but I can't pretend to understand the differences between them.

News that they have put a curfew in place to try to calm things down.

Friday is a special day of prayer so this would normally have brought many more people out.

Let's hope they can keep a lid on this.
