Christmas Left Overs

Well today after our secong feast in two days it was time to decide what to do with the remains of the turkey.
I stripped the carcase and had a big caserole dish full of dark meat and white meat 50/50. I decided to make a curry that will do for dinner tomorrow.
Chopped two large onions
Chopped two big apples skins on
Finely chopped 4 gloves of garlic
Add a handful of dried raisins
Made a pint of chicken stock (using three stock cubes)
Added some tumeric and chilli to the wet mix
Diced the turkey meat and then tossed it in a few handfuls of whte flour.

Sweat the apples, garlic, raisins and onions in a little olive oil.
Add the floured meat and stir them together.
Pour in the pint of stock and stir. Add more boiling water if the mix is too dry.
Leave to simmer and tomorrow's dinner is sorted.

The cat has dibs on the leftovers. I think she's got a lil business on the go, selling turkey bites to other cats...

My cats are chowing down on salmon and king prawns, they eat better than me!

I've tried giving Ninja Tuna, but she turns her nose up at it, odd kitty that she is

giving them to the dogs

Ninja is a great name for a cat!

My Smudge (kinda lame compared to yours) is allergic to cat food so she gets fish and rice.

We didn't have any

Oh, her real name is Barley, but gets called Ginger Ninja from her lunatic dilated pupil antics around the place, clinging onto the sides of things

She's never pestered me for food (other than when she wants her food) which I guess is also a bit unusual

We mix our leftovers to make a tasty casserole

I made a ton of rice for the curry.
Anyone got any recepies for left over boiled rice
