The globalist jerks will not be happy until they create a one world government with liberty and justice for none. My late father is turning in his grave. He was an engineer at G.M. He was also a war hero who fought the Nazis. It's sickening to see the sellout of western democracy to the banksters. How far will we sink before people begin to realize the magnitude of the greatest swindle of all time? It is sad to see that the last capitalist will indeed sell the rope with which he is hung. Tremendous evil is afoot, and most people are too shell shocked to resist it. Chinese democracy is now our future. Unfortunately most people have already resigned themselves to a New World Order and will sleepwalk into oblivion, all the while paying rapt attention to the latest version of American Idol. Demand De Globalization Now!!!!

As much as I'd like to see our companies stay in America I won't condone denying their right to make selfish and stupid choices.

I'm not a patriot because I'm against socialism? You're the one demanding taking control over GM. Freedom to choose swings both ways.

No offense to your country but given it's history with products, I would never buy a car built there no matter what company owned.

This rant on possible globalization (no mention of GM taking offers from Chinese auto manufacturers by the way) of an American based auto maker seems weird coming from a Canadian

Here and there,

GM basically ran into a brick wall and completely bankrupted themselves despite the financial advantages of globalization.

If they eschewed globalization, they would have gone bankrupt and been out of business well over a decade ago. They're only staying afloat right now because of massive government loans.

I wouldn't worry about it. Chinese cars are of the same quality as Soviet Yugos. I doubt they'll sell very well.
