Animals have the right to be treated as beings of value in themselves, not as the means to human ends; this principle must be applies in order to guarantee the end of cruelty to animals. The application of this principle means that animals should never be experimented upon whatever the potential gain for humanity. To infect monkeys with the AIDS virus or to expose rodents to toxic chemicals and radiation is simply not acceptable, whatever the supposed benefits.

where are these links u talk about?

another issue is most animal experimentation is to be rejected - the reaction of a mouse to a substance is no guide to human reactions. Each species has its own unique physiology. So I am all against it.

ok but since i have studied medicine for a few years, i can tell u:

Vivisection generally fails because:

1-Human medicine cannot be based on veterinary medicine. This is because animals are different histologically, anatomically, genetically,
immunologically, and physiologically.
2-Animals and humans react differently to substances. For example, some drugs are carcinogenic in humans but not in animals, or vice-versa.
3-Naturally occurring diseases (e.g., in patients) and artificially
induced diseases (e.g., in lab animals) often differ substantially.

Mutilating animals and calling it 'science' condemns the human species to be morally cruel and barbaric.

Animal test is still needed to this day, I covered it all in that link i proved. I gave the example of simple eye liner and how over the course of the last few years the status of a cemical has changed due to existing and continuous use of animal testing.

Proof possitive that animal testing is alive, well and nessary for the betterment of making you ladies look hawter
