Chewing Gum

Now hands up I have to confess that I'm not a gum chewer but there are few things in this life that get right up my nose and one is gum chewers who just toss their disguarded gum anywhere they choose.

It makes the place look like a patchwork quilt of grey, white gunk.

What do you think of gum dumpers?

They're annoying! Especially when they drop their gum either right next to a garbage can, or on top of the lid!

Or the brain deads who take their gum out and stick it to the park bench or other seat used by the public.

Um i usually throw it in the woods, or a bush or a river...so i guess i'm guilty. Never throw down in the street or stick it on things though

What is really bad is stepping in it on a hot day......

But why not wrap it up in a piece of paper and dispose of it properly?

They are lazy and stupid! Not even wrap it up.....just throw it in the trash?

I think we should follow Singapore and ban the stuff.

I don't like the banning thing.....my breath would kill without it. lol

Maybe we should cane them like Singapore does though.

I was a teacher for 25 years and I hate the stuff! The kids used to stick it under
their desks and at the end of the school term the Janitor had to putty knife all
the crap off. Think of the germs just waiting in that rubber goo. Ech. As for gum
dumpers they should be shot! Step on it and track it in on a nice oriental carpet,
I could just kill them. Why can't they just wrap it in a bit of paper and dispose of
it! You touched a real nerve on this post!!!!

Haha, i was that janitor during a whole summer and went around and cleaned every school that was in my district while i was on summer break

It costs very little for a stick of gum but costs a fortune to have it removed from a pavement. I think the gum could be taxed heavily and the money collected used specifically to clean up it's mess.

OH! I went through an amusement park water ride type thing. It was "The Log." Basically, it had a water track that we would ride through....and in between the start of the ride, and the climb up the hill that we would drop from there were a couple tunnels. These tunnels were plastered in gum! Nasty people!

There was another ride there that was like an old haunted gold mine. They had a couple barrels set up to act like they were going to fall on the people, these had gum covering them too! BAH!!!!!!!!!!!!

well, i sell chewing gum at school with HUGE profits and so it would be hypocytical of me to not like them

They're lazy and rude. Also people who throw their cigarrette butts on the ground, especially when there is a disposal box right beside them really make me mad.
