Chewing Gum; Should it be banned?

Sticky, dirty chewed gum is everywhere!
On bus seats, the pavements, in schools and hospitals.
It costs 2p to remove a piece of gum from the streets, there is nothing worse than sitting on someones disgarded gum or treading it home on your carpets.
It is after all..litter and makes the streets unsightly, should people be fined for dropping gum?

yeah because that wouldn't be a waste of resources, i find the cards that are on lamp posts quite useful, or we could go the way Singapore went and not allow it into the country.

It annoys me that so many people drop chewing gum or stick it to places. I don't think it should be banned, but a fine is a good idea.

It annoys me when people chew gum. I say ban it just for that reason alone

I spit mine in a trash can or into a bush.
Gum dissolves over time, so it's not like a hazard to the environment (unless a bird or small animal gets to it).

I NEED to chew gum. Next to TicTacs, it's my stress/anxiety relief.
