Yo,

I was thinking in biology some time last year about this and forgot... i bet theres some kinda explination to stop my theory but here goes anyway...

Is it possible to amputate arms/legs of another creature and successfully implant it onto a human body without killing the implant so it rots, or killing the human host?

Yea you could do that, but you couldn't be able to use it, and it would just hang their doing nothing

For both those questions, there would be no nerves connected to the brain, so no sensations would be felt, nor would signals could get their to move it.

No.

It's very difficult to use an organ or body part from another *human being*. Rejection rates are very high. The human body rejects tissue it sees as foreign. We can trick it or encourage it to accept human tissue from other people a fair percentage of the time, but tissue from another animal entirely is generally rejected.

There have been organ transplants from other animals biologically highly similar to humans. This is called xenotransplantation. For example, there have been a couple of pig livers transplanted into humans temporarily (pigs are incredibly similar to humans internally).

Transplanting the arm of another animal would definitely not work using current procedures. Advancements in genetic modification may be able to make this possible somewhere down the line though.

Ok. thanks guys btw the person who asked 'why would i want to do this' well.. this being that I am within a secret laboratory where i am breeding half-lion half-superhuman genes together to create a army of super humany liony thing and kill you all, and become absolute ruler of the world.

This answer your question? LOL
