Cancel my account

I'm really busy with college, a gf, work, and my new dog. (A black lab) TFS is a great place, and I might rejoin later on, but I'd like to cancel my account for now. I don't want people to be sending me PMs and have false hopes that I'm going to answer or whatever.
I've asked el_tino and sent a message to TFS through the "contact us" link at the bottom of the page, but it worked when I tried to sign in.
Can I please have my account canceled?! I might join later on, and I'll use the same SN, but for now I'd really like it if it were just canceled. Can a regular mod do that, please.

A regular mod can't cancel an account. Only tino can do that

I've asked, and he said I had to contact them through the link at the bottom. I did about a week and a half ago, and my account is still here. What's happening then?
