Indeed. I just read another article that said scientists are close to creating a universal flu vaccine, to cover all strains for many years.

I think I seen it. I was really touched. I think there are multiple videos like this. I almost cried with her. A beautiful gift.

What's even more amazing in ways is how many people a century or longer ago either died or were otherwise seriously crippled or disfigured over things that nowadays aren't really that big a deal. One day last week I ran six miles. A hundred years ago by this point in my life I'd either be severly crippled or overall unable to walk at all, but microsurgery on my spine in 2007 corrected a problem that otherwise would have lead to serious nerve damage.
