Can cheese make you hyper?

Cos I just ate loads of cheese and now I'm like "Weeeeeeeeee!"

Don't see why not, it can make your dreams go pretty crazy.

Yeah I had a cheese nightmare once. I didn't eat cheese for about a year after cos it was a night terror so I was awake and still having nightmares

I'm sure there was an episode of QI where they said cheese contained something that calmed you down and gave you nice dreams.

Then why am I hyper? It's all I've eaten today!

Maybe there's something in the air?

Maybe someone laced it with something.

That would be interesting if it could make you hyper. I don't think it's ever done that for me. Mostly I'm hyper because I get to eat cheese and experience it's yummy deliciousness. Then once it's been eaten, I'm just content and happy.

Besides that, dairy products promote the production of saliva, so no doubt you're dribbling a bit too...

Yeah, I too, just get excited for cheese, but don't feel particularly hyper after, not like sugar or caffeine.

though I have never had a cheese dream either, unless all my wacky dreams are because of cheese and I just find it normal. I dream random craziness all the time.

I want String Cheese now. I hated that as a child, but love it as an adult.

I think anything can make anyone hyper, it just depends on the body's molecular set up and its reaction to certain protiens and acids and such....
But really I have no idea what I'm talking about.
My Babyboy loves cheese, but it doesn't seem to change his behavior in any way.
