Can I censor my excessive profanity and post?

Okay so I wrote this sort of comedy thing, poking fun at the extreme left and extreme right ethical/political spectrum. Basically it's sort of an interview with an imaginary far-right and far-left person. These "people" are far enough at ends of the spectrum to be basically absurd humor, so they say things that are offensive but it's very obvious that I'm not saying that, it's just what these imaginary people would say.

The problem though is it would DEFINITELY break the excessive profanity rule. It uses the F-word, S-word, B-word, both C-words, the D-word, and the N-word (N-word is not used seriously of course, it's the extreme right on racism). My question is can I replace all the letters other than the first and last in each curse word with asterisks? Or would that still qualify as excessive profanity?

You'll probably have to ask one of the mods about that. But seeing as it sounds like a comedy skit, I think it should be alright. It's not like everyone on this site has delicate ears/eyes or anything. Still, it's really cool that you asked beforehand to see if it was okay. I think it'll be fine, but it might be better to wait and see what Tiger or Eagle have to say.

I think it will be mainly that the OP has only 4 posts. Not sure but prolly best for a mod to help 'em out on that question.

Personally, I have always thought if you have to ask becuase you think it is wrong, then you are probably better off not posting it.

Kinda like if you have to look around the room to see who's there before telling a joke!

Yes. You can censor yourself. In fact, you probably should censor yourself.

Perhaps oddly, there is no rule on TFS that requires you to use profanity.
