Yesterday President Bush vetoed Democrats' bill that included a schedule for troop withdrawal in Iraq. Because he's fantastic. Any thoughts? There's too much crap for me to write. cnn.com

i'm glad he vetoed the bill, not only did it make the troops come home by this fall (which you may or may not agree with) but it also attached billions in funding for issues far from the war... farm relief etc. which are good issues.. but do not belong in a war funding bill .. if the president had a line item veto power like most governors, this never would be in the news...

I don't think he should have vetoed the bill. After all, I'm sure the troops like spinach and peanuts.

LOL.. yeah.. maybe.. but most of them would like to feed them spinach and send them home... and cut their funding..
