Bush endorses John McCain for president

WASHINGTON - President Bush endorsed Republican nominee-in-waiting John McCain on Wednesday, two bitter rivals from the 2000 presidential race joining together now in hopes of preventing Democrats from winning the White House this fall.

The world has been waiting with baited breath to see who Bush endorses.

I heard the smart money was on Clinton. Oh well!

Is this like a football manager getting a vote of confidence from the board, just before he gets fired.

I watched his endorsement this morning, it was funny. A couple reporters asked Bush and McCain if Bushes endorsement would hurt McCain since Bush's popularity rating were so low, and Bush said, "If he wants me to say I like him, if he wants me to say I don't like him, I'll do it, I just want him to win."

Bush is a really funny guy.

And would anyone really want Bush's endorsement at this time?

He's like friendly fire.

I don't care, I really would like to see a democratic in the house this coming up year (even though I don't like Hillary that much), any republican I see right now is another Bush.

And I think Bush seems like a alright guy just a lot of decisions he made I didn't agree with, he did protect us though..

I would denounce (or reject) an endorsement from Bush I mean Bush's endorsement is the kiss of death (my party would kill me for getting his endorsement), hell I'd even reject a friend request from Bush on myspace or facebook.

Bush is still very popular among the conservative right, a group that McCain is actively courting.
