FBI looking into "new developments" after previously recommending no charges against Democrat candidate

The FBI on Friday announced it is reopening its investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server, another shocking October surprise for the Democrat candidate days from the presidential election.

In a letter to committees and lawmakers relevant to the matter, FBI Director James Comey cited “recent developments” for the bureau’s decision to look into new emails which may contain classified information and how they may relate to its previous investigation.

“In previous congressional testimony, I referred to the fact that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) had completed its investigation of former Secretary Clinton’s personal email server. Due to recent developments, I am writing to supplement my previous testimony,” Comey wrote in the letter obtained by CNBC .

“In connection with an unrelated case, the FBI has learned of the existence of emails that appear to be pertinent to the investigation. I am writing to inform you that the investigative team briefed me on this yesterday, and I agreed that the FBI should take appropriate investigative steps designed to allow investigators to review these emails to determine whether they contain classified information, as well as to assess their importance to our investigation.”

“Although the FBI cannot yet assess whether or not this material may be signifcant, and I cannot predict how long it will take us to complete this additional work, I believe it is important to update your Committees about our efforts in light of my previous testimony,” Comey stated.

it take backbone to challenge fbi, Hillary going let won't this email stop her from campaigning.

Hillary was try to hide, she will stop her campaign now, and be out of the public eye until the eve of November 8.

she is will to face the price tag, whatever it takes. if she has to go to jail, or even be impeach, if she win. so be it!

that take courage something that American people will accept as a leader of our country.

I was been thinking about I came up with biden. because I wasn't sure I know or thought Obama had stay in office, a new president is swore in. or speaker of the house become president in January.

does biden have a choice,he could turn down the job, because of his health or other reasons?

People have already been voting with early voting...

thanks for information. I thought the case with Bernie. I forgot early voters. it probably unfair to other voters if they held early voters votes.

I guess they hold their ballet 's results for new election, they can't vote again.

Regarding Clinton Emails....

The more I read about this idiocy, the more it becomes clear to me that while using a private server was a dumb idea, it wasn't some criminal conspiracy scheme invented and directed by Clinton.

The entire thing actually shows to me not that Clinton is a super villain, but rather that her staff were idiots.
