Black Metal vs. Death Metal

I like both the same. Death Metal is less emotional, and more heavy, and Black Metal is more
emotional, but less heavy (even though it is as heavy as s***!)

hm, i like bands that can take all the best bits of genres and do their own thing. i hate it when people stick religiously to one genre... what's the point?

meh they both sound the same to me, screaming down a microphone to unreckognisable melodies

I like most kinds of metal, I don't bother putting it into catergories, to me some is very heavy and some is less heavy, I like most of it, depends on my mood

All forms of metal sound very different. Death metal has a growling tone to the vocals, and
black metal has a raspy scream-like sound to the vocals. Know what you are talking about
before you post that kind of s***.

I prefer death over black, though I like how black metal implements keyboards as part of the instrumental setup.

If i had to pick one out of DM or BM i don't think i could. There are many different DM styles to choose from and there is a lot of variation in the black metal scene wether you like oldschool BM or symphonic BM.

DM has a kind of savage rawness to it and BM used to be raw but now its a land of overproduced keyboards and intro's.

I just can't pick one over the other.
