Ok, I have eTrust anti-virus at the moment but that is utter s***. So I have decided to change but I want to know which is the best anti-virus software that I can get to protect my computer.

I have had Norton, and McAffee, and Norton is better as far as being invisible. McAfee likes to make itself known all the time, always stopping you and asking you what you want to do, or if you want to just keep doing what you were doing. It's irritating. I didn't have to do any of that with Norton. I like Norton better.

Norton really isnt the best right now, mainly because they havent been keeping up with the new upgrades for keeping the new worms, viruses and trojons away.
I use AVG anti-virus. It updates everytime you turn on your internet and its fast and it has helped my computer out tons.
Its not as slow and doesnt take up so much space on your computer like norton or mcfee.

I used to have Norton but it slowed the computer and later we found a Trojan Horse that it didn't catch. I really don't know what to tell you, because my father refuses to get virus protection and I'm not allowed on the computer. Just get something.

I know a computer security specialist who recommends nod32 and then zone alarm for a firewall.

the two best ones i have found are nod32 and zonealarm i have both of them but they are neither one free but i have tried almost all of them and these are the two best they are quick they autamatically update and they both have real time protection (keeps you from opening a file that has a virus untill the virus has been treated)

i recommend getting zonealarm security suite it has a great firewall great antivirus including email antivirus realtime protection im security and a s*** load of other stuff and it is quite easy on resources (except when a antivirus scan is running) but it is still easier on resources than most other antivrus programs

go here and read this it has some great info from me and ko https://www.theforumsite.com/forum.php?t=2912

I have vcom. I'm not sure how it stacks up against others but it has everything I need - anti virus, firewall, anti spam, and all the other utilities that u would get with norton system works. Nothing bad so far.
I like it 'cause it was cheap and had everything. I didnt have to buy seperate firewall, anti virus and ultilities.
