I feel like I'm constantly saying, "all things being relative" lately.
I had a friend recently go on about how lucky she was to clean her house. He rational was that there were people who had no homes at all..therefor, she was lucky to be cleaning hers. I was floored. I said, Ummm and do you eat all your peas because there are kids straving somewhere? Makes no sense to me to compare ourselves to anything.
Sorry..rambled there. I need lunch.

No. I mean, I have never been a starving child in Africa, but without food I am still hungry.

My dads favourite when were were growing up was saying our problems were nothing in comparison to that of people in the third world. he is right of course, they aren't.

As I have never experienced anything that bad however the problem is big to me, because it is worse than anything I have experienced before.
