Aussie Accent

What are people's views on the Aussie accent? On a random site I was reading, a lot of people think it is sexy. But I don't really know because I am use to it. So what are people's thoughts on it. Oh and people say I have a really strong Aussie accent.

Anything that sounds really different tends to be nice.

Haha I'm worried I sound like that. I don't what to sound like some Devo or bogan. Although like with every aussie its natural to say mate at least once a day.

I only do the occa thing if there are people from other countries around or I am bored. I do like impersonating bogans though.

If they drive a ford, pregnant by 19 or are a father by 19 and live in area places like kwinana they are a bogan.

I shagged this girl who went to a really posh all-girls school in Australia. She kept trying to act like she was a bogan when she clearly wasn't. Was kind of funny, this really posh bint trying to pretend she was a bogan.

I see some posh girls around and by the way they act they can be bogans for all I care. They seem like trash to me. But then I feel guilty when they are nice to me and I've been thinking what trash.

Oh and if a guy/girl has a southern cross tattoo they are a bogan. Sorry to the people who had the tattoo before it became a fad with them.

So far there has only ever been one posh girl I was interested in. But she got a scholarship to some drama school. I walk past where she works and its kind of awkward when she looks at me because I don't know if to go up to her and talk to her.

On an even weirder note. I think I just became apart of the lesbian group at college. Well I think one is bi. So if I can work the strings properly meow. The lesbian one I find funny because we use to get teased that we liked each other.

When I was little I wondered why my Dad and Granddad called EVERYONE mate...I was always like 'how do you know him?' thinking they were dead popular. They said it was just natural for them to call people mate

I love Australian accents, they make me feel safe and happy, and remind me of bedtime stories

I can't say I find it sexy or unsexy. I'm probably just used to it as well. After all, I've been watching Neighbours since about 1986. Not that anyone on Neighbours really has a noticeable accent. Not like Alf on Home and Away. Ya flamin' galah!

Aussie biatchaz sound sexy,but the drongo's voices are jarring.

CBL you watch neighbours or Home and Away. I hate both of those shows.
