A man was stabbed in the face at Castlegate in the center of Aberdeen, the entire area of Marischal street has been closed as a massive police investigation is underway.

Really not the kind of thing you expect to happen in Aberdeen.

Not in the center of Aberdeen. The occasional fight may break out, but things of this scale don't happen up here very often. We are a sleepy fishermans city, not inner-city Glasgow.

I mean this happened outside Snafu on a Student night, thats a club I used to go to quite often.

Aberdeens lovely. It's a nice quiet city with the most friendly people anywhere other than Inverness and Orkney.

I've never ben to Scotand so I wouldn't know, I just get the imnpression Scotlands like Trainspotting

Aberdeen is about as sleepy as a city can get. Only excitement really involves football and Oil.

Im well used to violence of that nature, Edmonton is a hot bed of stabbings, shootings, muggings....f*** if theres not glass being thrown about a pub its not a decent pub in my book
