Apparently, Arizona law enforcement can stop anyone and demand them to prove US Citizenship. Which means, everyone is presumed guilty until they can prove otherwise. I have strong feelings against fascism and socialistic systems. What papers will I have to carry in Arizona to prove citizenship? A visa? Birth certificate?

Wow, I cannot believe I'm writing this about my country!

"Welcome to the State of Arizona. Papers, please."

This is the part that worries me

"It would also grant police the power to stop and verify the immigration status of anyone they suspect of being illegal. "

It basically says that if you don't look "white", you can be stopped. But I guess there's nothing wrong with racial profiling if it weeds out a few illegals..

I wonder how well that would go over in Wisconsin, if they were only looking for people who looked "Canadian"?

That seems odd since you're not supposed to carry your social security card and most people don't have possession of their actual birth certificate. And if you're a natural born citizen, you wouldn't have a visa.

Does it matter how many?
If there's only one, isn't he breaking the law?

No, it doesn't matter. Yes he would be breaking the law. Since I live fairly close to the Canadian border and they visit, I don't know how many would actually want to illegally live in the states. That's why I asked.

I've known a couple who lived here legally.. but they really longed for clean, law abiding cities, and government run health care, so they've pretty much gone back..

Still, this Arizona thing.. Just how many white people are going to be stopped and checked?

Probably not alot, even though there are white people here on expired visas and such.

Probably not any. Arizona has more of a problem with people walking across the border from Mexico. Hopefully, they won't abuse their law and use it for random people on the street (haha, I know ).

Arizona passed strict laws a couple of years ago the if any business owner is busted employing illegals they will face very stiff fines . The fines are stiff enough that a large number of illegals were fired and had to return to their homes towns across the border. The law went into effect on the Jan. 1 of that year . The story of a delegate of 3 from one of them home towns was over in Arizona telling the state law makers they had to change that law because it wasn't fair to expect the Mexican Government to
deal with the problems caused by the lost income that the illegals had been sending back to their home towns . The delegate really was angry and demanding the Arizona government to change the laws because it put them ( the Mexicans in a bind because all their citizens were home and no money was rolling in anymore.

That bill is really bad. Just about every law proposed in it is ineffectual posing.
