I think they're all on cellphone and tablet apps.

Going by what I've seen here since 2009 I wouldn't be highly surprised to find that TFS is a forensics site that becomes available to select people searching Google.

A lot of folks moved over to social apps that can only be ran on cells and i-crap.

I have an iphone but the only social app I have is instagram which isnt rly social at all??

I am a teen with an iPhone who's very antisocial and doesn't have a Facebook or an Instagram account.

Back when I joined the site (2006), there were a ton of teens joining/actively participating. Now it seems like very few teens join and stay for very long.

Meh, your generation's alright. When I was on here back in the day, a large number of the teens on here were just whiny emo kids or from strictly religious families. Then again, only about two-fifths of those who joined were like that and the rest were/are very awesome people.

You guys just have way more distractions than we had in the 90s. Put down the iPhones every so often and it's all good.

Well, I'm currently 19, and I still come onto this site. And occasionally, I post from my iPhone.

Many here want to go back to the good old days. Some worry about the death of TFS.

I keep forgetting that iPhones have good internet. Back in my day when I was a teen, we had flip phones and we thought they were the s***. Nothing was cooler than a Motorola Razr back in the day.



It's mostly the stagnation of topics, the lack of new members, the repetition of certain members, the frustrations of others and, as boxer mentioned, people who don't necessarily contribute much to the site outside of one-sided conversations with themselves or just a small group of people/person and don't interact with anyone outside the site.

Which really sucks because he's deleted his account now......

It used to be so cool! Especially over here. My cousin had this one back in 2005. I was so jealous of him. I remember back then the smaller the phone was, the cooler it was. So weird how it's the total opposite now.

That explains it! I had forgotten about this place, and when I came back, it was practically dead.
But then....I have noticed this with a lot of forum sites. It seems like they're just not getting the same type of traffic that they used to.
