Well, if I talk of war at all it is the "War of the Great Day of God the Almighty" which is generally known as Armageddon, and yes it is a sort of filter because it filters out all the evil from this planet, big or small.

At least it is a war in which Christ's true followers have no part. They will la be simply observers.

That's the theory, but they are not really servants, and to take the title Father is against what Jesus taught, he said :

(Matthew 23:9) Moreover, do not call anyone YOUR father on earth, for one is YOUR Father, the heavenly One.

A filter separates the bad from the good, the required from that which is not required, and allows disposal of the bad.

Yes that is the concept. If you read the whole chapter and get the context it means Father in the religious, or spiritual, sense, not the physical sense.

I didn't read the whole article, I didn't need to, but one thing just dawned on me.

If he wasn't disfellowshipped there is a good reason for that.

If he no longer associates with the Congregation they have no authority over him. If he tries to associate with another congregation his record will follow him, including any "charges" not currently faced.

Unlike some faiths you cannot escape judicial action simply by moving from one "parish" to another, any history of your association with all congregations which has not already been dealt dealt with follows you wherever you go, including any record of being counselled over any wrongdoing, though all the details may not be included unless specifically requested.

It may be possible to escape human justice by leaving the jurisdiction but God's jurisdiction is global, universal even.
