I used to really like Paul Harvey it was never the same with the son.

I can't say I remember the son. I used to listen to Paul Harvey on the radio with my dad some mornings. I was about 12 - 15 so...early 90's ish. One of my substitute teachers would bring the book (or a book if there's more than one) and read us a story...in high school.

I still remember when he read us the one about OJ Simpson. It was clearly written when OJ was still a football star, but it was read to us about the time he was on trial for double homicide. Oh irony.

yeah, I used to work with my dad delivering the newspaper, and it was on the radio in the morning, that and I know a lot of old country music. His son used to sub, and then did it for a while wehn the father could not.

the voices are close but not right, its like Vincent price, distinctive voice, his son has the same type of voice, btu then he stutters, and it throws you off He is still a smart man, I liked him, even if if didnt have class with him i used to like to go in and hear him lecture, and did i mention he was smart and interesting, that was really more important than the voice,

Yeah, he was like...the Mister Rogers of AM radio.
