Well democracy is intended for much smaller societies than the American Republic. Obvious flaws arise thusly. You cannot hope to bring millions of people together for forums.

Thusly, holes appear!

Nonetheless, it's the best on the table for now.

The puppet W.Bush has been a disgrace of a goverment. Hopefully the next "leader of the free world" isnt a greedy, corupt goverment. Although I'am making these judgements by a far.

i like how even in other places people say leader of the free world, america is so egotistical they think they are the world sometimes.

but yes he has messed up a lot of things, but when you put a revenge seeking oil tycoon into office what do you expect?

not anti-america, im just against the way that we as a country put ourselves above everyone, even in history books and the things they teach they dont give a non bias teaching they teach america is the number one and thats final.

its sad that the kids dont get views from anywhere else if you ask me.

America is a republic, it's not a democracy. It's not a big secret or anything. I know you love your conspiracies, so I hate to disappoint you on this one, but there's no conspiracy here. It's written right into the pledge of allegiance. "..and to the Republic, for which it stands...".

How is an American kid supposed to learn? From another countries viewpoint? there isn't enough time in the day to teach them from every view point, and why would we anyways?
Every country likes to think they're better then other countries, the only reason people get mad at America for doing it, is cause we've proved time and time again that we are
At least in most respects.

by sticking our nose where it doesnt belong and bombing when its not nessisary, oh and then being the most obese and wasteful counrty... sounds like the best to me as well.

and not that they have to teach from other view points but not validate everything that we do as the right thing and look over all the s*** that we do as ok and just focusing on the bad things of other countries in order to not look at the bad

What bad things have we done?
Slavery? Sure but so did every other country.
Although we had to war with ourselves to resolve that problem,
The war in Vietnam was pretty bad, but we never say otherwise
and we DID save all those French people.
The War in Iraq? Thats bad I guess, but we did depose of a ruthless tyrant.
Frankly you should not judge America by our last 8 years.
George Bush is NOT America.
The reason I like to think we're the best country in the world, or at least the most beneficial to the people of the world, is the fact that we've defended freedom, more then anyone else, we've stopped more tyranny then any other nation on the planet.
