Hey, it’s the end of the month. I understand.

I was referring to you answering by saying you weren't going to answer.

I wouldn’t laugh so st the people that are whining about AOC if they actually expressed concern about a self professed socialist and what that means policy wise. But..,

Almost all the daily whining is stuff like what she is wearing, her hoops, that she’s a stupid little girl that is only good enough to make them drinks and that she made a you tube video in college. So scandalous... she danced. The horror.
Almost daily I see them positing an unflattering meme of her, like s screen grab of a her making a face.

It’s all opposing her because of her age, her ethnicity and her sex. Hardly anything on her political opinion. Other than because of who she is it’s stupid.

I dunno...I've seen some criticism that had nothing to do with any of those things. In places like CNN...which is more of a liberal news outlet. There was an article I read just yesterday there on how she has no idea where she's going to get the money to fund all of her huge programs and how she had no answers...none...when asked about it.

What she's wearing? Was it as ridiculous when everyone was in an uproar over what the first lady was wearing?

Yeah, there are people who dig dirt and make stupid memes and pigeonhole based on things from the past. But is that particular to AOC? I agree that things like her wardrobe aren't worth any hand wringing, my point is...the mud slinging is not new to her or to Republicans.

I read articles across the political spectrum and there are tons of criticisms of her from Fox that have nothing to do with race, gender, or age. I'm not defending any of them...I'm not saying they're all correct, but they aren't just stupid ad hominem attacks at her youtube video either and I just don't think it's constructive to discount any attempt at actual critical reporting (from the left or the right...ABSOLUTELY not saying it's just a "liberal thing" ) on things she says or views she has as "snowflake whining."

I'm not really in the "right" corner here...it's more of a philosophical problem I have with breaking down the possibility of discourse between the two sides.

As someone known to occasionally wear a blue dress, I know just how important this issue really is... it should not be underestimated.

I understand what you mean.

Just that there are a group of individuals that are obsessed with her in a way that isn’t the usual way they talk s*** about killary and obummer.

I see a lot mostly from my hometown. It’s like multiple posts a day. Like it makes some of the 2012 political posts here look normal.

Those are who I lasagne at. Not your average republicans. Though I suppose they would say they were average republicans.
I don’t know. You and chaski are both more right on the political perspective than me, but I thought you’ve both been rational about it, even though we strongly disagree on some issues. I can still understand your perspective.
I can’t do that with some people I grew up with anymore. They are too busy trashing the little Latina girl, like she is personally out to get them. It’s weird.

Laugh. I laugh at them. I don’t make lasagne at them. f***ing autocorrect.

I’m leaving it in there. Maybe the world would be better with more lasagne or I’m just hungry.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC)

> Freshman member of the House of Representatives.

> Near zero legislative experience.

> Near zero political experience.

> Even if she had some sort of long standing relationships and network of support from other members of the H.R., which she does not, she is one vote in 435... that is, her vote is worth 0.23% relative to any piece of legislation being voted on.

> If you view her vote as part of the Democrat block, 235 members, her her vote is worth 0.42% relative to any piece of legislation being voted on.

> Freshmen members of Congress, even freshmen members of the Senate, are usually viewed by other congressmen (or congress persons if you prefer), as newbies, or greenhorns, that is they are typically treated with a shut-up, keep your head down, follow "our" lead attitude.

And yet 21st Century Republicans & Conservatives (men in particular from what I've observed) are frightened to death of AOC... they have their underwear all in a knot and crammed up their rear end over this woman.

They, 21st Century Republicans & Conservatives (men in particular from what I've observed), have given AOC a voice, and what amounts to power, beyond her position, beyond her experience.

I am literally LMAO every day at the crying, sniveling and whining that all these snowflakes display... they are frightened to death, they seem even more frightened of her than of Democrat power brokers like Pelosi.

After reading some rude scatheing right wing article about this bar tender turned elected official . I couldn't help but think ' she must be something pretty special , to have been voted into office straight from behind a bar , and to have the other guys foaming at the mouth in the first couple of months ' if she dont let all the hoop la turn her head. She just might be what 'we the people' need to kick start us back on track of being a two party system.

The new normal seems to be attack everything about the other person. Catch them when they are not aware of the camera. The right and the left both do this. This young lady is just out gunned ten years ago as a new congresswoman no news channel would have interviewed her. She would had time to learn her trade not today 24/7 news now means they have a lot to fill. They will do this with just about anyone

Maybe AOC & Bernie should get together and start a new political party.

He is a self proclaimed Socialist (was never a Democrat) and she is a Socialist-Democrat... new political party for a new age.

There is a new party trying to get a foot in the door , its
Veterans Party Of > insert your state < .

Here's their home page on face book for my state .

I want to see the formation of a new (3rd) political party.

In my mind (the only place this 3rd party exists) this party would take the "best" of the Republican party and the "best" of the Democratic party... it would be mostly centrist, but might actually incorporate some few ideas that might seem either far right or far left... if such a thing is possible.

I could right a book on it, but will leave it to that... at least for now.

I would call it something like the: Federalist Party.... or the New Federalist Party... or maybe the Liberal Republicans (reference Teddy Roosevelt)...

Anyway... the point being a party that takes the best of the others, add some solid ideas, and jettison the rest.

etc

Is that true? It seems to me that they more see her as a moron that other morons follow. Primarily because she's a moron that other morons follow.

I thought she could never say anything dumber than the "unemployment is low because everyone has two jobs," thing, but she really does try to out stupid herself quite often.

I especially enjoyed the fake twitter account that was set up to claim that people were upset at her for dancing on a roof when literally no one gave a toss.

Is Pelosi still in command of basic functions, like thought? Watching her attempt to say something lucid is like watching a goat try to mount a chainsaw.
