It's 100% true. There are universities that give them bonus points for their minority status and the same when they're applying for a job.

I'll be the first to call bulls***.
Show a link. Show a reputable link that says that AA gives less qualified minorities jobs over more qualified applicants as a matter of course, rather than choose the minority applicant when the qualifications are equal.

I think my opinion on the subject has already been summed up by a cartoon in another thread (cheers Katie)

Caucasians have never had to struggle, and risked being murdered to establish their civil rights! Yet they whine like little babies about affirmative action!

I would never feel like I'm losing anything, especially posting on an online forum. But since you seem to think it is, you can claim your big victory that will do absolutely nothing for you whatsoever. Maybe an ego boost, but hopefully you're not shallow enough to think of a win on a forum as a shining moment.

No I dont but then I dont lower myself to also saying nasty things to others just because u are frustrated and cannot get your point across in a grown up manner - lets draw a line and move forward cos I really dont want to argue, we will be here all day cos I rarely back down.

He's right. Winning a debate against him is really not a shining moment.. Everyone always wins against him, because he tosses out vapid opinion, and then can't back it up with facts.
