Looking for acoustic soft rock songs. Name a few. Though I don't want anything like an All American Rejects or some punk band doing a acoustic song, unless it is an extremely good song.

Also not really looking for songs/sounds like Oasis (Wonderwall) or any type of regular rock band like Pink Floyd having an unplugged album or Nirvana's unplugged for that matter. I've heard of them, I have them.

The ever popular Jack Johnson, John Mayer I've pretty much heard of. Though if you can I want artists similar to these two. I need new artists, new songs, nice ones if you can.

So have at it.

They aren't new, but they are timeless.

A little too oldies for me. Looking more for slow, rough exterior voice, type songs.

Sort of like:

I dislike Bon jovi with a passion.

But other than that, nah, again not looking for the regular rock bands doing acoustic slow songs. More like the opposite.

Thanks though.

Check out Gary Moore - whilst not acoustic, it is amazing soft rock.

Still got the Blues,
Empty Rooms,
etc.

Dunno if it's what you'd be looking for at all, But Johnny Cash did an amazing covers album that I'd highly recommend having a listen to.

James Morrison kinda fits in with these two. I have no idea how popular he is so sorry if this is not helpful.

Vertical Horizon is also a surprisingly unheard-of band:

If you like heavy piano songs, check out Five for Fighting, Ben Folds, and the more popular The Fray.

if ur looking for NEW and raspy voice, I really think you should check out Ray Lamontagne. He's soft, raspy, and really cool. He's got some cool songs called "shelter" and "Hold you in my arms"
