I jsut have a bunch of warnings for tracking cookies in there, is it okay to empty it?

Yes it is safe to empty them. Cookies are a very low level threat, they can't harm your computer but if you get enough of them they can and will eventualy slow it down a bit. It's best to delete them from the vault

I used to have AVG but it didnt detect a virus on my pc a few weeks ago. Had to re-install pc from scratch. I now have the free virgin media PCGuard which is brilliant it has anti virus, anti spyware, parentalcontrol, Identity theft protection, firewall, privacy manager. If anyone has virgin media as there provider I would recommend it.

pc gaurd will not ever uninstall so if you do get infected pc gaurd wont even boot up and you cant delete it to get another anti-virus, and nothing will work along side it not even norton
