Discuss!!!

SERIOUSLY?????...I thought this was another joke interview...This felt like another "proof" interview of how they constantly contradict what they say IMO...but people are "woooohooing" them.

Especially the part where McCain talks about how Clinton and Reagan really had no experience...and is defending Palin's experience or is he implying "lack of?"

So why say Obama has no experience if it doesn't matter to McCain that his running mate doesn't really have experience?

This is not good for McCain. If he hadn't chosen Palin, he might actually have a better chance of winning the election. I guess he was trying to compensate for her ignorance in politics and that seemed like they were contradicting each other.

I understand that this was a pure strategic move for McCain. There's no question about that. But it really makes me in turn question McCain's character. He seems like the guy that will throw a quick fix just to appease Americans when times are rough. Or 'Like bush' say everything okay when it really isn't.

Also the people that know she was a strategic move yet continue to support McCain when they don't like her. You really have to question the person's character for doing so as well.

Let's see.

McCain and Palin knew this was coming. Palin recites a memorized paragraph "clarifying" the comment. McCain smiles fatherly while she does so.

Then he swoops in at the end of her prepared statement and attacks the "attack journalism." She recites another sentence or two and he just reiterates his complete confidence in her.

Yawn.

Yeah, WTF is McCain doing comparing Clinton's experience to Palin's?

Clinton had a Juris Doctor from Yale Law. He was an Attorney General. Then he was governor for ten times as long as Palin in a state in the middle of America.

Reagan? Reagan was governor of California, the second most populous state in the US and the state with the largest national profile, for eight years after having spent years working on presidential campaigns and writing speeches.

Palin? She was the mayor of a tiny hick town in the middle of nowhere for a few years and has been governor of a small state for about 2. That's it. No relevant education. No relevant experience. And obviously no relevant interest in government outside Alaska until a month ago.

Palin isn't qualified to shine the shoes of a pre-election Clinton or Reagan. Pure BS.

So he is basically admitting that he chose her for the attention it would bring to his campaign rather than her political track record.

Clinton?? hahahaha He was a low life piece of garbage. He sold tech to China, got away with purgery and left Bush with a recession. Not to mention he dropped the ball on terrorism.
Anybody who thinks clinton was a good president lacks critical thinking skills and is just going along with the cool crowd.

As for Palin, she is republican version of Obama. Her only crimes are she is conservative and not running for president.
If anybody stops to listen to what she says they will know she isn't part of the anti-US, progress is bad crowd and is very direct for a change.

And she has a pregnant 17 year old daughter. Don't forget that!
