so i was talking to my sister the other day... she said that she watches grey's anatomy (or whatever medical show is the tear-jerker) every week so she can have her cry... she said that if she misses her weekly cry she's mopey and b****y all week, and my mom confirmed it... i kind of patronised her for it in the stoic big sister way that i have to, but i'm actually a bit impressed by her logical way of handling her emotions... i really found it rather an interesting way of dealing...

and i do kind of see the point behind it... i would never tell people in real life, but i spent about two hours crying watching legends of the fall last night... it does feels kind of good...

I sometimes cry late at night, when everyone else is alseep and I know I won't be caught.
Other times I cry tears of joy, looking at my children.

I can no longer cry. I try and try but I just simpley can't. Maybe I'll start taking a hammer to my toes or something.

Personally I think crying EVERY week is a bit unhealthy. Crying shouldn't be the only way you handle your emotions IMO. Yeah crying maybe once a month or once every couple months I think is normal...but weekly just seems like the only way you can handle things to cry. But again everyone deals with it in different ways and crying is way.

Better than other bad alternatives.

Tears are cleansing. I wish I could cry more. Sometimes I go a long time without crying but when I finally do cry, I can't seem to stop. This may sound ridiculous to some of you: Crying actually makes my complexion healthier. My eyes may be swollen for a day or two, but crying gets the toxins and stress out of the system. I hate when I can't stop because I get a massive headache. Antidepressants seem to keep me from crying so easily.

I probably cry about once a week, makes me feel much better. I'm quite emotional I suppose, doesn't take a great deal to set me off, something I'm quite glad of.

Sounds sad really, but tbh I'm the happiest I've been since I can remember, I think I'd actually be less happy if I didn't cry as often.

Crying = healing
If I see a movie where the father is reuniting with his long lost son it wells me up. I still have issues about signing my parental rights away (for my son) some 23 years ago. It's much easier these days since I've reunited with him.

Anyway, your sister is doing therapy for herself this way. My only concern would be if she's despondent ALL the time. If she's normally happy, then it's really no big deal.

Maybe I'll antagonise my partner into kicking me in the nads every once in awhile.

I cry every other night, which is an improvement to what it was a few weeks ago. I hate crying and hate being so bloody sensitive sometimes, would be better if I was a robot.

recently I have been spending time alone with myself and notice when I do I cry. I thought this was crazy cuz I always liked alone time. But I have discovered what is different and what happened that all of a sudden I cry when I am alone. My boyfriend used to cone over all the time and we were going to live together. But things changed and he got his own place. I must have healed from the pain (He would say mean things to me)while he was away and when I am alone,thats what I think of.
