A Fairer Points System

Earlier, I wrote about six sentences and came away with 0 points

I think it's time we had a fairer points system! I'm thinking 1 point for every sentence, 1 point for every emoticon and 2 points for every picture or link. What do you think?!

I think its fine the way it is

The points system is a very complicated system.

It also takes into account spelling, grammar, typing speed etc.

It's an awesome way of doing things and prevents spam and other annoying copy and paste threads

Do you really get more points for typing faster?

Not faster, slower.

If you copy and paste your WPM is really fast and you get less points.

Apparently it takes into acount how many times you delete something, which to me is total bulls***e, but ah well.

Ah right, so even though I'm typing all this out and haven't copied and pasted, I will get more points if I type it slower than I am typing it now?

Thats not fair really. I mean if your a faster typer then you get more stuff into your posts. I think faster typers should get more points.

So my problem is that I type too fast? Cos last time I checked, I could do 50 words per minute. . . So, it seems I should slow down to about 20 and stop using the backspace and delete buttons?

Neither does celebrating people who don't type fast. It's not fair for those of us who have bothered practicing.

It's counts like 2000wpm that are made to have zero points...

I don't think anyone can type that fast!
